One of the Most Requested Features from the SAP Community Is Here!
Finally, administrators can choose exactly what employee info appears on Org Chart and Spotlight cards.
Until now, you could only show or hide job titles. But with the new Org Chart Configuration option in Admin Center → Org Chart Configuration → Company Org Chart, you can now display:
✅ Company
✅ Department
✅ Division
✅ Job Title (auto-fallback between assignmentDisplayHeader and title)
✅ Location
✅ Even Custom Fields (custom01–custom15)
This means HR and leaders can instantly surface what matters most — whether it’s location, department, or any org-specific data point — right on the visual org view.
💡 One note: if you’ve enabled Hide job title in People Search and Org Charts under Company System and Logo Settings, that still overrides this new option.
Again a small change, but a big win for visibility, relevance, and personalization inside your organization chart.
