Alert : From Sept 29, 2025, you can’t log in with SAP Universal ID anymore
From August 25 – September 29, 2025, SAP is rolling out a major shift in how you log in.
👉 No more using Universal ID as a direct login.
👉 Instead, you’ll sign in with your email or S-/P-user ID + password.
👉 Your Universal ID becomes your identity wallet — holding your certifications, learning progress, community reputation, and linked accounts.
✅ If you’ve got just one account, SAP will migrate your password automatically.
If you manage multiple accounts, you’ll need to confirm your password before September 29.
Why this matters:
Your UID isn’t disappearing. It’s becoming more powerful — the central hub for your SAP identity and professional history.
Bottom line: After Sept 29, you won’t be able to log in directly with UID. But all your hard-earned certifications, learning, and community contributions remain safe.
💡 My take → This is a smart move: it separates authentication from identity management, making SAP logins more secure while keeping the value of your professional record intact.
Are you ready for the switch?
