Configuration transport support is coming to Learning

 SAP SuccessFactors 2H 2026: configuration transport support is coming to Learning.

You finish testing a configuration.

Then comes the question:

“Do we need to set this up again in production?”

SAP is adding support to transport Learning configurations across instances, reducing the need for manual setup between environments.

For teams recreating settings by hand, this is worth reviewing in the release plan.

Every setting you recreate is another setting to compare with the version you tested.

My first check would be the supported configuration scope. Then I would transport one tested change and verify both the settings and the resulting behaviour in the target instance.

The value is straightforward: less time rebuilding configurations, more time checking that they work.
